While I was writing this, she sat in her happy bouncy chair with the toys, and moaned until I came into view, and then she laughed and smiled.... and we repeated that three times, until I got the point.
She doesn't want to sit on the other side of the room and play with her rattles or chew toys.

They want face time.
I'm going to show my ass here and admit that this may be one of the first times I've read Della's blog. We follow each other on twitter, shared holiday cards with each other, yet I don't make it to her blog as much as I should.
I know I'm not alone in this mistake when it comes to the people we call friends on twitter.
Today, Della left me a comment and hyperlinked her name to a specific blog post that was relevant to my post. This, people, is one of the sharpest tools we can use as bloggers and members of a larger community. It's not spam when you are sharing something relevant and I'm so glad that Della thought to link directly.
As a result, I'm linking to her post not only here, but also in another blog post I'm writing for Velveteen Mind. Not only that, but I'm also linking to another blogger's post that I found in Della's sidebar of blogs she reads.
It's an intricate web we weave. And we can use all the help we can get.
