I never learn. I have just a second to write this before Cheeks wakes up... from a nap on my bed again. This is how he fell off last time.
I will know he has woken up this time, however, because I have surrounded him with bubble wrap (I kid you not) and put the baby monitor on high. I figure this will buy me the precious few seconds I need to run in there from the point I hear the bubble wrap rustle before he dives to his doom again.
Hang on, I think child protection services really are at the door...
False alarm. So before I'm in the clink for good this time, I wanted to share a fun post by Suburban Oblivion today. Being the lazy blogger she is (yeah, uh, she posts about nineteen times a week), she invited her readers to link to their favorite posts from their own blogs. Mine was My Heart Takes A Fall, but this isn't about me, for once.
The Queen of Shake-Shake linked to her post Excuse Me, I Do That Too. I was thinking it was a post about bras (Sara's got bras on my brain), but it's actually very similar to my favorite post of my own. I had forgotten how much I loved her post and always meant to link to her, but when I would go to her site to grab the link, I would suck up all of my time by getting lost in her other stories. There's something about her I really like. The pictures of her caressing the Easter bunny's crack (sounds intriguing, right?) were too endearing to forget.
As The Queen herself would say, I command you to read her blog.
Thanks again to Sara for a fun post. I think the bubble wrap is fixin' to start a-rustlin', though, so I'll have to delve into the other fave posts later.
By the way, I see you posting out there, MoodSwingingMommy, and-- wait-- pop! pop! POP!... Gotta run! I owe you one heck of a great post, woman. Two, actually. Not that anyone will see them, though, because I think this post has successfully linked everyone about forty links away from me. Man, Megan, link much, do ya?
