The only reason I took a shower even remotely ahead of the MomTV episode I’m doing tonight?
You probably take a shower every day. That’s fabulous. I do not. I haven’t enjoyed daily showers since Quinn was born in 2004. Three kids and a social media fascination that won’t stop later? I’m lucky to take three showers a week.
Yeah, I said it. Be grossed out. I can dig it.
But those shampoo and conditioner bottles up there? Oh my. They call to me.
God help me, I’m writing a product review.
My introduction to tea tree oil began in 1995 when I moved to Montgomery, Alabama, to attend college and discovered The Body Shop for the first time. I moved into my own apartment in 1998 and slowly began dedicating my solo evenings to The Body Shop’s tea tree face mask.
The smell still reminds me of freedom.
I’ll expound upon my new obsession with shopping at Ulta sometime soon, but that’s the temptation alley that exposed me to this Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Special Shampoo & Conditioner Duo Set. Tea tree oil, lavender, and peppermint. Simultaneously exhilarating and earthy, decidedly clean (an ideal palate cleanser between favorite shampoos), this scent makes me want to drag myself into the shower. Nothing short of a miracle.
There you have it. My first “because I can’t not tell you” product review. Coincidentally, also my first post to publicize at my newly revamped Rummage Blog! Because they can’t all be epic posts. ;)
I fully intend to fill this place with lots of goodies to rummage through.
Much less thinking, much more linking.
PS- Drop in on 5 Minutes for Mom’s MomTV tonight at 10pm ET/ 9pm CT for a 30 minute segment with me! (the show starts at 9pm ET/ 8pm CT and promises lots of surprises!)
They tell me I’ll be answering questions about social media and my experience.
At the very least, you know my hair will be clean.
