PS - I've told you before that I was the first person @Nerdist followed on twitter, right? It's my claim to Nerdvana and I feel compelled to mention it once a year. Today is that day, as it was this Comedy Central special that led me to a fledgling version of Nerdist.com back when it was on Typepad.

Now Chris hosts The Talking Dead on AMC and that makes me one step closer to knowing Rick from The Walking Dead.

Date night? Best movie I've seen in a long time. For adults. Finally. #UITA

Maguire surprised me with a date night last weekend. My favorite kind of date night that he designs: Dinner and a movie... but the movie is kept a secret from me until it starts. Tricky to pull off, but SO worth it.

Imagine sitting in a theater and having no idea what is about to start on the big screen. Listening to the excitement of everyone around you, eavesdropping for hints. I tried to guess all night, over dinner, never guessing Up in the Air. When we walked by the one sheets outside the theater, I finally saw the one sheet (broke the rules, as I'm not supposed to look at the movie posters on the way in) and said, "Oh man, that's the movie I couldn't remember that I wanted to see! But, um, I'll be fine if we're going to see Alvin and the Chipmunks."

Nice work, Maguire.  Best movie I've seen in quite a while.  Satisfying.  Go see it.
